CAMP 

A day camp in which the little ones can enjoy the summer and be fully introduced to the English language. English learning is developed in an agreeable and stimulating atmosphere where a playful and didactic programme is taught, in which the main pillars are music and psychomotricity. Designed especially for children aged 3 to 6 years, our aim, in addition to learning English, is to promote the personal and social development of the little ones, with a special emphasis on work areas that are essential for successful current and future coexistence, such as environmental and health education.

Music is an integrated part of the programme because it provides an excellent means for learning the language; for this reason the children have many different musical activities, in addition to at least one gym class a week. We believe that the best route to learning English is in a practical and playful way, which is why we promote development of the arts and sport.

All our classes follow a structured daily programme with a minimum of one break per day, in addition to outdoor activities scheduled by the teacher (whenever weather permits) to complete the experience of our students. The little ones (3-4 years old) may have a nap if the teacher considers it appropriate.

ENGLISH CLASSES

We work to create a pleasant and stimulating environment using a creative methodology based on the use of practical English teaching methods, such as: Story telling, crafts, theatre or dance. As a mechanism for acquiring language without even realizing it, we have the experience and competence of native teachers in charge of developing practice and interaction based learning.

During Project and activities time, our younger campers will work with in a practical way. During the week they will work on a mini.play which they will be able to perform on Friday, and parents are well invited to see their kids performing. Our 3-4 years old will perform a song along with the older, which they will practice during the week and therefore learn more vocabulary and be more confident in the English language.

SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES

We have developed a thorough interactive and practical programme where children can develop their creative, motor and cognitive abilities in a playful environment, while constantly exposed to English.

SCHOOL

The camp takes place in the facilities of the renovated Legamar College; a surface area of 50,000 m2 with large green areas and shade, a skating rink, a covered sports centre, outdoor & indoor football pitches, basketball, volleyball and handball courts and a multitude of sports and leisure facilities situated in a convenient and well communicated zone.

The classrooms of this English for Children camp are equipped with separate bathrooms and direct access to the recreation areas. The playground is fitted with high quality cushioned surfaces adapted for the little ones, so they enjoy playing in total safety.
