SURF CAMP PROGRAMME

This is the camp for the active beach lover. This camp gives you the chance to achieve the dream of becoming a real surfer in just one week. Enjoy the full immersion of one of the more fun and exciting sports, while improving your language skills. You will learn how to catch waves like a pro, hone your coordination skills, gain confidence and increase your overall strength all while making great friends and memories. Live this unforgettable life experience, feel that magical feeling of freedom as you ride your first wave, sharing it with all of your new friends in this spectacular atmosphere. ENGLISH CLASSES

All the camp is conducted in English. There are no specific classes. Pupils may participate either with basic, intermediate or advanced English.

CAMP

The programme includes 5 surf lessons taught by expert monitors, so that you will improve your flexibility and agility and tone your muscles. You will be able to stand on the board and glide on the waves; you will even learn how to make a re-entry, or a cutback! This adventure sport, in addition to the physical benefits, also provides many other benefits, such as learning to disconnect; it gives you an energy boost, increases your attention span and lets you enjoy contact with nature. More than just a sport, surfing is a union of values, a form of exercise, a way of life, the spirit of enjoying the sea and the connection with the board.

ACTIVITIES

You will be able to enjoy a stunning Loredo-Langre trip, famous for its magnificent coastal views; visit the MMC (Maritime Museum of Cantabria), take the ‘Los Reginas’ boat tour, learn how to make and repair surfboards in the surf workshop, participate in a volleyball championship, celebrate a fun barbecue and a farewell night out as a final finishing touch to an exciting week.

Visit the Maritime Museum of Cantabria, where you can see huge skeletons of real whales and an aquarium full of all the different species from the area.
